What is PediaTan?
PediaTan is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.
PediaTan is used to treat runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.
PediaTan may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Warnings
Always ask a doctor before giving a cough or cold medicine to a child. Death can occur from the misuse of cough and cold medicines in very young children.
You should not use PediaTan if you have narrow-angle glaucoma, a blockage in your stomach or intestines, an enlarged prostate, if you are unable to urinate, or if you are having an asthma attack.

You should not use PediaTan if you are allergic to it, or if you have:

a blockage in your stomach or intestines;
an enlarged prostate;
if you are unable to urinate; or
if you are having an asthma attack.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to take PediaTan if you have:
a blockage in your digestive tract (stomach or intestines), a colostomy or ileostomy;
liver or kidney disease;
asthma or COPD, cough with mucus, or cough caused by smoking, emphysema, or
