Uses for Robaxin
Methocarbamol is used to relieve the discomfort caused by acute (short-term), painful muscle or bone conditions. However, this medicine does not take the place of rest, exercise, physical therapy, or other treatment that your doctor may recommend for your medical problem.
Methocarbamol injection is also used to treat tetanus (prolonged contraction of muscles). However, this medicine does not take the place of other treatments for tetanus. If you use any medicine to treat your tetanus, keep using it as ordered by your doctor

Allergies
Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to this medicine or any other medicines. Also tell your health care professional if you have any other types of allergies, such as to foods, dyes, preservatives, or animals. For non-prescription products, read the label or package ingredients carefully.
Pediatric
Appropriate studies have not been performed on the relationship of age to the effects of methocarbamol in the pediatric population. Safety and efficacy have not been established except in children with tetanus.
Geriatric
Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated geriatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of methocarbamol in the elderly. However, elderly patients are more sensitive to the effects of this medicine than y...
