Carb-O-Lac HP (for the skin) is a combination medicine that is used to treat rough or scaly skin and soften cracked skin or calluses.
Carb-O-Lac HP may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

You should not use Carb-O-Lac HP if you have ever had an allergic reaction to ammonium lactate or urea.

How should I use Carb-O-Lac HP?
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not take by mouth. Topical medicine is for use only on the skin.
Apply only a thin film to the affected skin. For best results, apply this medicine right after a bath or shower, while your skin is still damp. You may cover the treated skin with a bandage or gauze.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Apply the medicine as soon as you can, but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not apply two doses at one time.

What should I avoid while using Carb-O-Lac HP?
Avoid using Carb-O-Lac HP on open wounds or burns, or on skin that is sensitive, irritated, or infected.
