What is Daurismo?
Daurismo is used in combination with cytarabine to treat acute myeloid leukemia.
Daurismo and cytarabine treatment is for use in adults who are 75 years or older, or who cannot use standard chemotherapy due to other medical conditions.
Daurismo use has not been studied in people with severe kidney problems or moderate-to-severe liver problems.
Warnings
Daurismo can cause severe birth defects or death of a baby if the mother or the father is taking this medicine at the time of conception or during pregnancy.
Both men and women should use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy while using this medicine and for at least 30 days after your last dose.
Before taking this medicine

If you are a woman who is able to get pregnant, you may need to have a negative pregnancy test before starting this treatment. Use effective birth control to prevent pregnancy while you are using this medicine and for at least 30 days after your last dose.
If you are a man, use condoms when having sex with a woman who is able to get pregnant, even if you have had a vasectomy. Keep using condoms for at least 30 days after your last dose.
Tell your doctor right away if a pregnancy occurs while either the mother or the father is using Daurismo.
