DESCRIPTION

The active ingredient in Famotidine Injection, USP is a histamine H2-receptor antagonist. Famotidine is [1-Amino-3-[[[2-[(diaminomethylene)amino]-4-thiazolyl]methyl]thio] propylidene] sulfamide. Its structural formula is:
