What is Allanhist PDX Drops?
Brompheniramine is an antihistamine. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant.
Allanhist PDX Drops is a combination medicine used to treat cough, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, and watery eyes caused by allergies or the common cold.
Allanhist PDX Drops may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Warnings
Use only as directed. Tell your doctor if you use other medicines or have other medical conditions or allergies.
Before taking this medicine
You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to it brompheniramine, dextromethorphan, or pseudoephedrine, or if you have:
severe high blood pressure; or
severe coronary artery disease (clogged arteries).
Do not use Allanhist PDX Drops if you have used an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, and tranylcypromine.
